Delta Public Strategies is a fast-paced public affairs and government relations firm working at the intersection of politics, communication, policy, and storytelling. We represent corporations, mission-driven organizations, companies, and coalitions.
We’re seeking a Summer Fellow who is intellectually curious, politically engaged, and eager to roll up their sleeves. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic communications, crisis management, legislative tracking, government procurement, campaign development, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legislative and policy research at the federal, state, and local levels
Draft policy memos, briefing documents, and media materials
Track and analyze legislation and regulatory developments
Monitor news and political developments
Assist in planning advocacy campaigns, coalitions, and events
Attend hearings, briefings, and stakeholder meetings as needed
Provide general administrative and project support to the team
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in public policy, political science, communications, or a related field
A good sense of humor and a sharp eye for what matters in a political or media moment
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
Interest in government, politics, and public affairs
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Google Workspace and basic media/legislative monitoring tools
